Manheim has achieved more than £2 million worth of sales for Thurlow Nunn in just six months since the partnership started.

More than 1,100 vehicles have been remarketed for one of the UK’s largest Vauxhall groups since May this year, achieving an average 91.8% Cap Clean.

Operating from 12 sites, Thurlow Nunn’s dealerships cover the Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire regions.

Over the next four years, Manheim will handle up to 16,000 part-exchange vehicles for the group on a solus supplier basis, with all vehicles sold through weekly auctions at Manheim’s Colchester centre.

As part of the partnership, Thurlow Nunn also benefits from Manheim’s Seller Advance system, which provides accurate real-time valuations direct to forecourts to help salespeople offer the most competitive and profitable part-exchange prices.

The system also provides dealerships with cash advances to aid working capital and business growth, with differences between valuations and final auction sale prices settled after the actual sale.

Peter Bell, managing director at Manheim, said: “We are thrilled to have reached the £2m mark for Thurlow Nunn.

“The group’s stock is always of high quality and we see huge buyer interest in the vehicles on a weekly basis. Our first auction on 17 May in Colchester was a great success and during the past six months the relationship has gone from strength-to-strength.”

Simon Grylls, regional director and head of sales at Thurlow Nunn, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the success of the Manheim partnership to date.

“The team continues to proactively attract new buyers and demonstrate their expertise in matching the right buyer to the right vendors week in, week out. We have no doubt this success will continue.”
