Suzuki’s Jimny compact SUV has received record high residual value forecasts for the brand.

Based on Cap HPI's January 2019 Gold Book, over three years and 60,000 miles the Jimny SZ5 will retain 52% of its value.

If a lower mileage of 36,000 over three years is taken into account – which Suzuki says will be more typical of its historical ownership profiles, the figure is a record breaker for Suzuki at 61%.

Two models are available: the SZ4, which offers selectable four-wheel drive with low ratio transfer, dual sensor brake support, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and front foglamps.

SZ5 adds 15-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, climate control, navigation with smartphone link, rear privacy glass, and heated front seats.
