Brake’s Fleet Safety Conference announces VisionTrack as headline sponsor

Brake has announced VisionTrack as the headline sponsor of the 2019 UK Fleet Safety Conference on May 22.

The theme for the conference this year is ‘Simply the best – prioritising fleet safety’.

Held at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC), the event will hold presentations throughout the morning, covering topical issues including:

  • Effective leadership
  • Prioritising people
  • Recruiting the best drivers

In the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to choose from a number of sessions delivered by industry experts and academics focusing on risk management, drivers and vehicles.

Brake’s corporate fundraising officer Sheridan Hatfield said: “It is fantastic to partner with a company who shares Brake’s passion and commitment in prioritising fleet safety.

“We look forward to working with VisionTrack throughout 2019 and encourage all those responsible for at-work drivers to book your conference place early.”

A range of exhibitors will be available for delegates to meet and ask questions throughout the day.

This year’s conference is being run as part of the Global Fleet Champions campaign, a not-for-profit global campaign to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by vehicles used for work purposes.

VisionTrack’s managing director Simon Marsh said: “As a former fleet owner, I’m passionate about supporting and promoting road safety and increasing awareness of technology’s role in changing driver performance and encouraging better driving.”
