Risk management and driver training company DriveTech has appointed Charlie Norman as director.

He has been the chief financial officer at the AA-owned company for three years and replaces David Wilson, who has decided to move on after three years in the role to be closer to his family.

Norman, who has worked in the AA for 16 years, said: “Our mission at DriveTech is ‘working together to eliminate road death and serious injury’ and I will continue to drive this crucial agenda forward with the DriveTech team.

“With 'Vision Zero' increasingly prevalent, new imminent EU regulations to include additional safety components on to new vehicles, and the whole transition around changes in the mobility landscape, these are truly transformational times.

“I want to ensure DriveTech plays a prominent part in this marketplace and can continue to extend its reach and positive impact."
