BMW will showcase two brand new electric models – the iX1 SUV and i7 luxury saloon - at Fleet & Mobility Live, this year.

The new BMW 230e Active Tourer plug-in hybrid will be on display at the event.

Fleet & Mobility Live, the biggest exhibition show in the fleet calendar, takes place on October 11 and 12 at the NEC, Birmingham. It will feature a packed line-up of informative seminar sessions and the latest products from exhibitors, in Hall 20.

Registration for Fleet & Mobility Live is open now and free for fleet decision makers.

The iX1 is an electric version of the all-new X1. It provides a range of up to 272 miles (WLTP), from its 66kWh battery. Power is sent to all four wheel, via two electric motors. The car develops 313PS and can accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds.

Launching alongside the new 7 Series, the i7 is a long-range luxury car with the capability to cover 387 miles between charges. It takes just 34 minutes to top-up the battery from 10%-80% and the i7 accelerates with similar swiftness, thanks to its 544PS output.

Joining the existing 2 Series Active Tourer, the new 230e is one of two plug-in hybrid variants to be offered of the new model. Now in its second generation, the 2 Series Active Tourer benefits from BMW’s latest electrification technology, enabling a zero-emission range for the plug-in hybrid models of 57 miles.

Steve Roberts, general manager, Corporate Sales at BMW Group UK, along with Brian Cox, national corporate sales manager will be at the event with the brand’s key account team.

The key focus for the BMW team will be discussing electrification with customers and prospects. With new-generation electrified products arriving now and in the months ahead, the team will be keen to highlight BMW Group’s electrified offering, which features improved electric range and charge times, lower BiK bandings on PHEV vehicles and will also highlight the expanding charging network.

Roberts said: “We look forward to meeting our fleet customers and prospects at Fleet & Mobility Live this October.

At this time of rapid change in the industry, we see unprecedented interest in our growing electrified portfolio and we are delighted to be showcasing our latest models over the two days.

BMW 7 Series, our new flagship, will be a highlight of our activation this year ahead of its market launch at the end of 2022.”
