Kia is now accepting orders for the its performance flagship EV6 GT and EV9 GT models.
The EV6 GT enters its second generation, with significant upgrades, while the EV9 is the second electric Kia to gain a GT variant.
Both models are the flagship versions in their respective model lines.
EV6 GT
The EV6 GT adopts the enhancements applied to the EV6 in its recent facelift. The revised model features a refreshed exterior design, with a new light signature, improved battery performance and driving dynamics, and a broader range of convenience features.
Powered by a new 84kWh battery pack (8.5% bigger than the previous generation EV6 GT battery), it provides a range of up to 279 miles.
The dual motor powertrain has been given a large power boost and now produces 650PS and 770Nm, enabling a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 3.5 seconds.
It also adopts the virtual gear shift technology that debuted on the Hyundai Ioniq 5N.
Prices have been reduced compared to the outgoing model, meaning the EV6 GT is available for £59,985.
EV9 GT
The EV9 gains a range-topping GT trim with enhanced power and drivability. It features exclusive 21-inch GT wheels, neon green accents and sports seats.
A 99.8kWh battery pack ensures a range of up to 280 miles, while the dual motor powertrain puts out 510PS. Like the EV6 GT, the EV9 GT has a virtual gear shift system to enhance driver engagement.
Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) comes as standard, as well as a Road Preview System to detect and react to changing road surfaces.
The car is available with a six- or seven-seat interior configuration, with prices starting at £82,185.
