Volkswagen has introduced two new trim levels to the Passat eHybrid that offer more equipment for no extra cost.
The new Match and Black Edition trims replace existing Life and R Line, respectively.
Both new trims come with a 204PS hybrid-petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox; the new Black Edition eHybrid can also be ordered with a more powerful 272PS version of the same engine.
The 19.7kWh battery in all Passat eHybrids provides a range of 83 miles in the 204PS version and 77 miles with the 272PS engine. It can also be topped up from 5% to 80% capacity in 26 minutes when using a DC charger.
The new Passat eHybrid Match gains metallic paint, IQ Matrix LED headlights, tinted rear glass and Assistance Pack, when compared to the outgoing Life model.
Black Edition cars come with a panoramic sunroof, privacy glass, heated front and rear seats, head-up display, 15-inch infotainment screen and 19-inch wheels.
The new Passat Match eHybrid is priced £44,555; the new Black Edition eHybrids are £48,900 and £51,420 for the 204PS and 272PS versions, respectively.
