BMW 5 Series wins 2020 Fleet News Best Executive Car Award

Unbeaten for the third consecutive year, the BMW 5 Series retains its crown as the fleet industry’s favourite executive car.

A comfortable and spacious interior makes the 5 Series ideal for long journeys, with adequate power coming from its range of powertrains.

It delivers a driving experience like no other car in the segment, but equally impresses when it comes to running costs – as one of the most affordable cars in the category.

CO2 emissions are among the lowest among its key rivals, achieved via the introduction of new mild-hybrid engines, which means favourable benefit-in-kind tax for drivers and low running costs for fleets.

The 530e offers the lowest BIK in the line-up thanks to its low CO2 emissions (WLTP) of 32g/km and electric range of up to 36 miles.

Drivers love it, fleet managers love it; the 5 Series is ticks all the boxes and more in this segment.

Finalists: Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Jaguar XF, Lexus ES, Mercedes-Benz E-CLass, Volvo S/V90

Award sponsored by: Athlon
