Marshall Fleet Solutions is now offering fuel management to its customers after teaming up with FuelGenie.
The FuelGenie package consists of a fuel card for each driver, linked to an online account management platform from which administrators can supervise usage, set spending limits and manage driver accounts.
One of Marshall’s customers, which has 800 drivers, has already seen “significant savings” by using FuelGenie. As the fuel cards are used at supermarket petrol stations there is an average saving of more than three pence per litre, according to FuelGenie.
Marshall’s expects the number of users to rise to 1,200 over the next six months thanks to the success of the initial rollout.
Marshall’s supply contract manager Leanne Betterman said: “Marshall’s has been working together with FuelGenie as a key supplier assisting us with our fleets for large companies, providing a complete package of fuel card management. This includes all aspects of the FuelGenie offering.
“The online account system is accessible 24/7, allowing easy management of fuel card requests, setting card usage limits and cancellation.
“Dedicated reports are easily accessible for month-end reconciliations and provide Excel data with full fleet details of all drivers, costs and usage to easily audit. This tool has allowed us to provide a full service to our customer with ease.
“FuelGenie also has a dedicated contact centre and account management for large fleets, meaning we in turn provide the full package to our customers.”
The online account management system also allows individual cardholders to login and monitor their own transactions, if set up by administrators to do so.
