Fleet management and mobile worker solution provider Connexas Group has acquired Seven Telematics.

The deal will see Northampton-based Connexas Group’s annual revenues increase to more than £20 million with the business servicing more than 700 customers and fulfilling more than 100,000 connections in the UK and overseas.

Nottinghamshire-based Seven Telematics manufacturers Transcan temperature data loggers, as well as providing vehicle tracking, temperature monitoring and driver performance data services to fleets.

Jim Sumner, chairman of Connexas Group, said: “Our businesses are a perfect fit for each other.

“This move not only increases our technology and connection base, it also offers significant growth potential and builds on our European footprint.”

Ian McAllister, commercial director of Seven Telematics, who has joined Connexas Group as Interim COO, added: “There is a real energy and purpose in this organisation, and we are looking forward to working together to realise growth in the future.”
