Lex Autolease will use Nexus Vehicle Rental’s rental management platform Iris to streamline its short-term rental provision.

Through Iris, Lex Autolease will have access to more than 550,000 vehicles from 2,000-plus locations across the UK.

The platform will also provide enhanced functionality for the UK’s second biggest vehicle leasing company, including a detailed management information module providing customers with greater visibility and insight into vehicle rental trends.

Scott Haddow, CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental, said: "I am pleased to welcome Lex Autolease into our network of strategic partners at Nexus.

“The integration of the Iris platform reflects our shared commitment to operational excellence through technology.

“This partnership emphasises our dedication to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge solutions with market leaders in the vehicle rental industry.”

Paul Hyne, commercial director at Lex Autolease, explained that the leasing company was always exploring opportunities where it can provide value added solutions to its customers.

“By working with Nexus, and implementing the Iris platform into our business, this supports our ambitions to deliver excellent customer experience,” he said.

“This partnership will expand our supply capability and gives our customers the best rental experience in the market.”

Nexus Vehicle Rental recently launched its new Nexus Go app,  an all-in-one mobility platform which aims to allow employees to manage their own mobility needs in one place.

Through the app, users can tailor their journey to suit personal travel preferences, whether that be car or van hire, taxi services, or walking.

The app provides a consolidated B2B billing solution for businesses, which enables them to keep track of spend, itineraries for expenses and travel history, as well as to plan future trips and filter out particular transport methods.
