Nexus Vehicle Rental has been shortlisted for technological innovation in the CIPS Supply Management Awards.

Nexus has been shortlisted in the ‘Most Innovative Use of Technology’ category in the CIPS Supply Management Awards 2015, alongside, among others,  global IT enterprise, IBM and one of the UK’s largest insurance companies, LV.

The programme celebrates exceptional use of best practice in the supplier industry, and recognises the most innovative companies in the profession.

Nexus recently released IRIS V4 (January 2015) which enables rental bookings to be made within just 10 seconds and is already developing a further improved system featuring mobile device compatibility in collaboration with customers and suppliers, to ensure it remains at the forefront of rental industry technology innovation.

David Brennan, CEO at Nexus Vehicle Rental, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious accolade, which recognises technology excellence in the supply chain, alongside some of the most globally-renowned businesses for technology and IT solutions.

“Technology is at the core of our service and we are constantly innovating and developing IRIS to remain ahead of the competition. Being shortlisted also underlines our commitment to developing revolutionary technology that enhances the user experience and gives our customers and suppliers something unique which is efficient, effective and easy to use.”
