Lexus has revised the prices and model line-up for the CT 200h, its self-charging hybrid luxury hatchback.

The range has been made simpler for customers to navigate with just three core grades, plus a choice of option packs - following the same format announced for the forthcoming new UX compact crossover and ES executive saloon.

Starting prices have risen to £25,150 from £23,520, although base specification is now higher.

It is powered by a combination of 1.8-litre petrol engine and a compact electric motor/generator with a total output of 136PS. Official combined fuel economy is 64.2mpg with CO2 emissions from 101g/km.

The entry model is simply the CT, joined by the performance-inspired F Sport and, at the top of the range, Takumi.

All versions benefit from Lexus Safety System+, featuring Pre-Collision System, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High Beam and Sway Warning.

Standard specification also includes sat-nav, reversing camera, rear parking sensors and automatic windscreen wipers.

F Sport versions include sports suspension, black door mirror housings, heated front seats and privacy glass.

The range topping Takumi gains a sunroof, LED headlights, mark Levinson audio system and front parking sensors. 

The CT 200h can be upgraded further with a choice of option packs:

• Sport Pack, adds black 17-inch alloys, black door mirror covers and front grille
• Tech Pack provides Lexus Premium Navigation (with a larger, 10-inch display), LED headlights with automatic levelling and headlamp washers
• Premium Pack introduces smart entry, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass and heated front seats
• Takumi Pack, offered for the F Sport, includes a 13-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system, Lexus Premium Navigation, sunroof, power-adjustable F Sport front seats with leather upholstery, Naguri trim inlays and LED headlights with automatic levelling
