Seat to further improve fleet customer experience after FN50 recognition

Seat has reiterated its commitment to innovate to improve its fleet customer experience after being named one of the top performers in the leasing industry.

The brand was named the UK’s fifth best manufacturer at the annual FN50 dinner by leasing companies after taking into consideration each brand’s performance and the service of their dealer networks.

Seat’s expanded SUV range, four-day test drive, customer driverline and EasyMove programmes were all identified as initiatives driving greater engagement with the brand.

It is Seat’s highest ranking in the report, with its previous best being ninth place in 2014. Audi, BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz were the manufacturers ranked ahead of it.

Peter McDonald, head of fleet and business sales at Seat UK, said: “We are ecstatic with the result, and really pleased that the leasing industry is valuing the relationship with our brand.

“We have a genuine intent to innovate to improve the fleet customer experience, and be a better partner of leasing companies to benefit the end user.”

The result comes as Seat has seen significant sales growth which has seen the brand break into the top 10 best-selling manufacturers in fleet sales and remains on track to triple sales results over the past five years.
