Peugeot, Citroen and DS vehicles will be available through a new subscription service provided by Drover.

A new partnership between PSA Finance and Drover will see the French firm’s model range offered on a monthly subscription service.

The pilot will enable drivers to subscribe to a variety of cars, such as the Peugeot 208, Citroen C3 or a DS 3.

Drover’s subscription model of ownership is designed to create a frictionless ownership experience, eliminating undesirable factors such as high upfront costs and lock-in commitment.

Customers sign-up and subscribe to their car online, and organise home delivery using Drover’s website.

The subscription itself is inclusive of everything (car, insurance, maintenance, break-down cover) the driver will need other than fuel, and customers have full flexibility to cancel, upgrade, or downgrade their car at the end of the month with no extra cost.

“Ease, choice, and flexibility are increasingly important for the globalised customer of today. Our subscription technology paves the way for us to continue to tap into this demographic, and thus drive a new growth channel for PSA Groupe,” said Felix Leuschner, CEO of Drover.

Drover launched in January 2016, counts over 2,000 active subscribers and has been serially backed by Version One, Forward Partners, Cherry Ventures, Partech and BP Ventures.
