AMT Group has appointed Claire Thornton as central reservations manager for its rental division.

Thornton, previously with the Morrison’s Supermarket chain, joins AMT Vehicle Rental to head up both the corporate and retail reservation teams based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

With previous roles managing customer services and IT service desks, Thornton brings a wealth of experience and will focus on further developing the teams currently in place.

Overseeing both the corporate and retail sectors, Thornton will develop all activities of the call centre to support the rental divisions continued growth strategy and deliver on some challenging targets.

She said: "I’m really thrilled at joining AMT at this exciting time in their development and looking forward to my new challenge. Central reservation teams are so vital to an organisation, especially one that offers such a niche fleet of vehicles like AMT."
