Tony Booth will become managing director of BCA Technical Services on June 1. He moves from Pendragon where he held a senior remarketing position.

Booth has worked in the motor industry for more than 25 years in a variety of roles, including managing director for the UK automotive division of Stobart from 2011 to 2015.

Prior to this, he spent 21 years with BMW where he held several positions including national bodyshop manager, national aftersales manager, aftersales marketing manager and latterly general manager UK distribution.

His new role encompasses the recently acquired Ambrosetti business and five additional technical services sites resulting from the SMA and Stobart acquisitions in 2015.

These include facilities in Henstridge, Carrington, Doncaster, Stockton and Livingston.

Booth will take responsibility for the profitability and operation of these sites, as well as the development of BCA's technical services strategy and managing business relations at a senior level with new and existing customers.
