Cap HPI has appointed Jeremy Yea as its new Black Book editor following a restructure.

Yea (pictured) joins the business from a senior remarketing role at ALD Automotive and brings more than 22 years’ experience.

Cap HPI’s head of current valuations Derren Martin said: “Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to the team. We are ramping up our expertise and analysis capability to provide enhanced editorial insight and remarketing consultancy. 

“Our focus remains on combining industry-leading data and expert insight to help our customers make smarter automotive decisions.”

The Black Book team includes a mix of industry experts and data analysts that produce daily updates to vehicle valuations.

It analyses more than two million transactional data records from a broad range of the wholesale market alongside more than five million retail adverts each year.
