Cap HPI has appointed Jeremy Yea as its new Black Book editor following a restructure.
Yea (pictured) joins the business from a senior remarketing role at ALD Automotive and brings more than 22 years’ experience.
Cap HPI’s head of current valuations Derren Martin said: “Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to the team. We are ramping up our expertise and analysis capability to provide enhanced editorial insight and remarketing consultancy.
“Our focus remains on combining industry-leading data and expert insight to help our customers make smarter automotive decisions.”
Yea said: “I join the industry leader at an exciting time in its development. I look forward to working with everyone at Cap HPI to support its diverse range of customers.”
The Black Book team includes a mix of industry experts and data analysts that produce daily updates to vehicle valuations.
It analyses more than two million transactional data records from a broad range of the wholesale market alongside more than five million retail adverts each year.
The company also recently announced the departure of senior editor James Dower to head of business development at ADESA.
