ARI Fleet UK has announced that Gareth Hanvey will fill the newly-created position of business development manager, fleet leasing.

Hanvey, who has more than 15 years’ experience will be consulting with customers about ARI’s new flexible funding solutions, and assist in the development of bespoke fleet management packages.

“It’s very exciting to come to ARI, because the innovative funding solutions it offers are genuinely new and disruptive, and ARI works collaboratively and closely with its customers, rather than offering simple one-size-fits-all deals,” said Hanvey.

The new appointment is part of a “concerted growth strategy” to move further into the funding sector.

ARI Fleet UK’s head of asset funding Rory Mackinnon said: “Bringing Gareth into the team illustrates our commitment to developing a consultative, customer-focussed funding solution that is market-leading and challenges the status quo.

“We see a real hunger for change in the sector, and because our award-winning Insights platform and expert fleet management team offer so much transparency and tight control around in-life running costs, the results are tangible for our customers right from the start.

“Customers can see how this funding solution will benefit their business from the outset, rather than with contract hire, which has regular monthly rentals but then many unseen cost variables at play, often at the back end.

“With our approach, customers can maximise their return, minimise any associated risks in-life and retain all the rewards at defleet time, and Gareth will be at the forefront of putting these programmes together.”
