Scott Haddow named new CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental

Nexus Vehicle Rental has appointed Scott Haddow as its new chief executive officer to support the business in its next phase of growth.

Haddow joins the management team to lead the business alongside managing director John Ellis and Alex Cook, the company’s finance director, with ex-CEO David Brennan remaining with the company as executive chairman.

With a tech services background and experience of working within private equity backed businesses since 2008, Haddow was group CEO to London-based MTI Technology Group for five years.

Prior to MTI, he was CEO of Trustmarque Solutions for seven years, which was backed by LDC, Dunedin and Endless before a trade sale to Capita in 2016.

Brennan said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Scott into the business, as he brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong track record in delivering growth.

“In my new role as executive chairman, I also look forward to continuing to support the business in what will be an exciting period ahead.”

Haddow added: “As I start in my new role as CEO at Nexus, I am excited to get to know my new colleagues, as well as our customers and suppliers.

Callum Langan appointed as Sopp+Sopp managing director

Sopp+Sopp has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Callum Langan as managing director.

Langan has been promoted from his role as commercial director to take full responsibility for Sopp+Sopp’s strategic growth plans, driving development of the business’ service offering.

Hannah Wilcox, CEO of Activate Group, Sopp+Sopp’s parent company, said: “With his significant industry expertise and passion for service delivery, Callum is the perfect person to lead the Sopp+Sopp business forward.”

In the new role, Callum will continue the company’s focus on developing innovative solutions to key fleet challenges.

Revive hires former Cazoo operations manager as head of business

Richard Graves is joining the senior leadership team at Revive as head of business.

He will focus on bringing in new opportunities for work across the Revive franchise network, including building upon the existing service offering to fleet, dealer and insurance businesses.

The former general manager for SMH Fleet Solutions had been employed as site ops manager at Cazoo Gloucester until the site’s recent closure.  

He is scheduled to take up his new post in early April.

He said: “With over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry, I have seen and worked with many companies. Revive stand out from the crowd, demonstrating their technical excellence in the field.

“My future with Revive is to build upon the already exceptional service offering and ensure that the business maintains its outstanding customer service while continuing to grow.”

Liberty Charge announces two senior hires

Liberty Charge has announced the appointment of two senior business development managers.

Kevin Ledger and Dan Lessiter join Liberty Charge, bringing more than 35 years client relationship experience between them across various industries, most recently supporting the creation of electric vehicle (EV) charging networks.

Ledger (pictured on the right) was previously a regional business development manager for EV and regional operations at a nationwide contracting business.

He was responsible for leading the EV and associated charging infrastructure for home, depot and public charging.

His prior experience includes within facilities management and mechanical and electrical services contracting.

Lessiter (pictured on the left) joins Liberty Charge from a major energy provider, where he gained extensive experience in helping businesses with practical solutions to help them meet ESG targets and net zero goals – with EV charging a key solution.
