Sogo reports record growth as it marks its third anniversary having secured 30,000 vehicle lease contracts over the past 12 months – a 10% increase on the previous year.

Sogo has also grown its corporate and SME customer base by 12%.

Karl Howkins (pictured), managing director of Sogo, said: "Our focus on sustainable mobility is proving popular with companies and fleets of all sizes.

“Sogo's model allows companies to be flexible around the operational requirements and still meet their sustainability targets.

"We've seen rapid growth in the number of PHEVs on our fleet as customer demand changes, and we expect this to continue to increase into 2024 as more MHEVs and HEVs come to market."

Sogo recently achieved Scope 3 emissions, making it one of the first in the mobility sector to secure the environmental standard.

It has focused on helping its customers make the transition to net zero and believes that an ultra-flexible approach will help more people move to EVs faster than ever before.

For example, it has seen an 80% decrease in the number of diesel vehicles in its fleet as customers choose hybrid and BEV options.

Howkins added: "We continue to invest in new technology to help our customers manage their journey to net zero. It's easier than ever to change vehicles on a monthly basis and choose the most appropriate and lowest emission vehicle."

Sogo recently announced it has agreed on a deal to become the automotive partner of official automotive and car leasing partner of Saracens men's and women's rugby teams, along with the group's Netball Super League team, Saracens Mavericks.

The partnership will see Sogo provide cars and vans to the performance staff of all three teams. Along with providing a fleet of vehicles, the Sogo brand will be on display at StoneX Stadium for all Saracens home fixtures, as well as at the Hertfordshire Sports Village, the home of the Saracens Mavericks.

Saracens Group CEO, Lucy Wray, said: “We are pleased to welcome SOGO as our exclusive automotive partner. The company’s innovative approach has already been great to see, providing all our staff and the wider Saracens family with an opportunity to access the latest and most environmentally friendly vehicles.”
