Maxus has launched the Deliver 9, its first all-new large panel van set to rival the Ford Transit.

Following its rebrand from LDV in April, the Deliver 9 is the first vehicle in the UK to wear the Maxus badge.

The Deliver 9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine that develops 163PS and 375Nm of torque.

Three lengths are offered (short, medium and long) and three heights (medium, high and extra-high), along with a choice of front- or all-wheel-drive.

Cargo volumes range from 8.13 cubic metres on the smallest vehicle, up to 12.33 cubic metres on the largest. Maximum payload ranges from 1,110Kg, for the largest body vehicle, up to 1,360Kg.

There are a number of variants, including crew cab, chassis and minibus models, while a network of specialist converters can also create a bespoke van to cater for all driver and business needs.

Pricing for the Deliver 9 starts from £30,231.00 ex. VAT (RWD, Long hi-roof) and is available to order now for delivery July.

All models include electric power steering and autonomous emergency braking, while a manual DPF regeneration button can help prevent clogging during urban use.

The load area features a heavy-duty bulkhead and rear doors that open to 260 degrees. There is also a low rear step, lashing rings, grab handles and LED illumination.

A touchscreen infotainment system is standard on Luxury models and provides Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The Deliver 9 Luxury also features blind-spot monitoring and keyless entry.

All Maxus vehicles come with five years warranty or 125,000 miles and include five years roadside assistance cover as standard.
