HJS Emission Technology have developed retrofit exhaust systems, enabling the owners and operators of certain Euro V vans to upgrade to Euro VI emission standards.

The system is currently approved for Euro V versions of the Renault Master Volkswagen Transporter T5, Vauxhall Movano and Nissan NV400.

Solutions for the Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen Crafter and Fiat Ducato have also been developed and are pending final approval.

By retrofitting a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) device, HJS says harmful emissions can be vastly reduced providing compliance with various emission reduction zones being introduced in towns and cities throughout the UK.

Once fitted, fleet operators and owners will be able to continue to operate their Euro V vehicles in these zones without having to pay a daily charge.

The HJS SCR system for LCV applications has been tested and approved in compliance with the Energy Saving Trusts (EST) Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS).

Specifically engineered and developed for demanding LCV applications, the system is supplied as an add on SCR exhaust and Adblue dosing system and the original factory fit Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is retained. The system operates independently of the vehicles original control system and can normally be installed within around one day.
