A recent journey to the south coast revealed that the Leon’s flat, firm seats are not the most comfortable on long motorway journeys. Over the three-hour trip I suffered the slow ingress of a lower backache that was only marginally improved by the adjustable lumbar support. The journey was not improved by the discovery of a series of small and deliberate looking scratches on the Leon’s bonnet.
