BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions appoints new head of risk

Mike Quinn, BNP Paribas Leasin Solution UK

BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions UK has appointed Mike Quinn as its new head of risk.

Quinn brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and leasing to the role, encompassing risk, sales, operations and IT project work.

In his new role, he will be overseeing both of the business’ two key divisions: technology solutions (TS), which provides dedicated leasing for equipment including office, telecoms, and IT, and equipment and logistics solutions, which specialises in agricultural equipment, construction, materials handling and commercial vehicles.

“Risk control at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions is managed very well,” said Quinn.

“I’m looking forward to ensuring that all the process and tools continue to operate correctly and effectively.

"One of the key challenges will be managing the fall-out from our decision to leave the EU, however I’m confident that we will be able to minimise the impact on our customers and ourselves, and continue to give British businesses access to the assets they need to succeed.”

Tristan Watkins, UK CEO, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Mike to the executive team. BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions UK lent to more than 100,000 British businesses last year – providing them with a sustainable and robust source of finance and driving growth within the wider economy.

"Mike will be key to success as we move forward, ensuring we continue to deliver a responsive, innovative, responsible and simple service.”
