Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has announced the opening of a new branch in Norwich, marking the company’s 21st UK location.

Located at the airport industrial estate in Norwich, the site is Enterprise’s 21st specialist commercial vehicle location in the UK and the first in East Anglia.

Customers will be able to access a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles at the new site, from small vans to HGVs.

From the new site, Enterprise will assist customers that require fast access to a van or truck when their own vehicles break down, have accidents or require servicing.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent’s managing director Danny Glynn said: “The East of England is an incredibly important market for businesses based locally and around the UK, and this new branch adds another key location to our network.

“In particular, we can now more quickly and efficiently deliver replacement vehicles in the region, which will help improve our customers’ ability to keep their drivers on the road. This will be a primary function for this new location.

“Vehicle downtime is a serious cost that affects every type of organisation, whether you’re a logistics provider with a hundred trucks, a local council mobility provider with 10 minibuses or a landscaping company with a couple of vans.”

The company will have around 1,500 vehicles based on-site, including dry freight and temperature-controlled trucks, as well as wheelchair-accessible vehicles. In addition, there will be facilities for vehicle servicing and mobile repair.

The site, run by branch manager Katie Scott, has also created 10 job openings, including branch managers, customer assistance staff, drivers and vehicle valets.
