Our client, who are a well-established organisation who are looking to recruit a Assistant Transport Manager based at thier Berkshire operation.
Key Responsibilities:
You will manage a small team in their daily shift delivery and stock management in the warehouse, setting clear objectives and responding to shifts in pace and priorities.
You will maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Line Manager immediately.
Essentials:
Must be a proven leader of people in a busy warehouse & Transport environment.
Retail sector Logistics experience
HTV level 1 license and knowledgeable of supply chain management, motivated to prove yourself and add value to a business in a fast paced and exciting environment.
Proven track record of managing operational change and delivering operational efficiency and service level agreements
Strong leadership skills with focus on colleague engagement, empowerment and overall development
