Logistics Export Manager - Bridgwater - £35-40K DOE
My client a successful and innovative manufacturing company that exports 70% of its business abroad, is looking to recruit an experienced Export Manager with excellent export and customer service knowledge. This is a newly created Exporter role that will assist the future growth and development of the groups logistic and customer service functions.
Main purpose of this role:
Arranging and securing deliveries to customers worldwide, ensuring that goods are delivered on time, in proper conditions and following customer requirements whilst processing the relevant export and delivery documentation & invoices as required to meet the legal export needs of the UK and the delivery regulation of the receiving country.
Keys skills:
Export regulations knowledge ideally used in a manufacturing environment
Excellent team player who can interact well with other internal departments
First class client interaction and shipping agents experience
Liaising with general customers, suppliers, agents, ports, shipping lines & airlines, making sure all documentation is correct.
Dealing with daily shipping deadlines, problem solving queries from freight forwarders both internationally and in the UK regarding shipment of imported and exported goods
Processing import documentation from overseas suppliers
Main duties:
Carrying out all relevant administration in relation to the Export of products
Completing all administration in relation to the export documentation, such as, invoices, packing documents, certificates, and other specific documents in relation to the product and export regulations for both UK and the receiving country.
Sending out order acknowledgements for all orders and providing customers with order updates and delivery scheduling.
Dealing with daily shipping deadlines, problem solving queries from freight forwarders both internationally and in the UK regarding shipment of imported and exported goods
This role offers an excellent salary and benefits package and will play an important role in the continued growth of the group. This role is commutable from Bristol, Taunton, Exeter and may suit a candidate that has previously worked as an Export Manager, Logistics Manager, Exporter, Freight forwarder, Export sales manager, Import export manager, Customs logistics manager
