Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be partnering with a major UK distribution business to recruit a Northern Fleet Manager.
My Client operates in a highly cyclical business, balancing a very large and diverse customer base from the largest network of LPG distribution sites in the UK.
With a fleet of over 400 delivery vehicles it is essential that our fleet operations run safely, legally and with the highest degree of operational efficiency.
As part of their 3-year plan, they have an ambition to:
*Deliver a highly compliant fleet of vehicles and drivers
*Support our aim to achieve a step change in our HSE performance by acting as the technical expert on any investigations into fleet related incidents
*Reduce the operating cost of our Fleet, by working with our scheduling and operational teams to improve the utilisation of our fleet assets
*Work with our repair partners to improve the quality, cost, and timeliness of repairs to our fleet
*Improve the design of our vehicles leading to safer, more ergonomic and efficient operation
In order to support the Head of Fleet in providing the leadership required to deliver the above, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated and capable Regional Fleet Manager, reporting into the Head of Fleet and will hold the responsibility over the effective management of our fleet in a geographic region.

*Proactive, self-starter
*Comfortable with pace and fluidity
Desirable:
*Experience of Fleet Management and Engineering
*Operational experience in a Fleet/Logistics/Transport environment
*Continuous Improvement, Lean principles
