A client of mine who is a Leading Housing Association, is looking for a Head of Property Support Services, with a main focus being within the Fleet Management. Within this large organisation there will be Multiple Trades vehicles Circa 600, among other vehicles, therefore experience within supply chain covering all aspects within Fleet Management would be advantageous. You will be leading the Fleet team within Property Services therefore experience within this industry would be desired.
Accountable for the development and implementation of our vision and strategy for fleet operational management
Taking responsibility and providing strategic leadership of the full internal fleet management processes and procedures, taking accountability for legal and operational efficiency as well as safety and compliance of the commercial fleet and drivers
Leading, managing and motivating the Property Operations Systems team to deliver a great property system support service to the operational business and customers. You'll use modelling, analysis and insight to forecast demand for our property delivery service
Ensure configuration of core business systems are aligned to the needs of operational service delivery teams. You'll make sure that our systems are used to their full potential and ensure consistency in data from a variety of different systems, encouraging proactivity in how we use them
Accountable for the delivery of an effective and value for money supply chain that meets the needs of Operational delivery teams, ensuring that we're driving for continual improvement and seeking innovations in the supply chain process
Actively lead the development of all employees and teams, cultivating a performance culture with all resources focused on value creation and customer service
Demonstrable experience in a similar role at a senior level, ideally with knowledge and practical experience from within housing, property services or repairs and maintenance sectors
Ability to evidence sound knowledge of Fleet management and the associated safety and compliance of managing a large fleet of vehicles
Knowledge and experience of managing systems teams, ensuring data is accurate and driving efficiencies and improvements
Experience in overseeing supply chains and identifying opportunities to enhance processes to drive value for money
You'll be an exemplary leader and motivator, able to demonstrate strategic partnerships whilst empowering and engaging highly productive teams
You'll have a focus on promoting a 'customer centric' culture across Property Services, keeping the residents at the heart of what we do
We're all working from home at the moment, however with offices in Basingstoke, Newbury and Christchurch we can be flexible on your base location when we do start to safely return to the workplace. In time, there will be frequent travel required between our offices and sites so you should be comfortable with this and have access to transport.
