Implant Business travel Health and safety Manager in Liverpool required to advise on travel risk and safety to foreign countries. 6 month contract initially possibly longer
This is an excellent position for a very experienced business travel consultant or corporate travel manager who has experience in assessing risk for clients travelling abroad to unsafe or risky countries either due to health or war related. Salary up to around £33,000 fte
We are seeking someone who has researched and advised / consulted on travel to high risk countries, perhaps you have worked on university accounts before as a senior btc or on charity accounts and have had to advise on everything from visas and travel documents, to health requirements and suggesting safe or less risky locations /hotels to stay, keeping up to date with the foreign office advise at all times Or perhaps you have worked in Health and safety assessing risk for a large travel company.
Implant Business travel health and safety Manager duties
*Provide standard guidance and advice to staff travellers and solve queries.
*Audit and assessment and inspections of overseas locations and any risk to travellers
*Provide competent and practical advice regarding overseas work and travel to high risk countries either by presentation or documentation
*Constantly in touch and up to date with the FCO to enable you to provide up to date information on risk to travellers
*Occasional travel and assessment overseas
Implant Business travel Health and safety Manager skills required
*Experience working in a similar role providing competent and practical advice regarding overseas work and travel to high risk countries.
*Experience of developing and delivering training on overseas work and travel related topics.
*Experience of performing audits and inspections and health and safety risks to travellers.
* Previously worked in a research or higher educational environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to handle issues with tact and sensitivity.
* Team player; Flexible attitude to work, ability to meet deadlines and prioritise own workload.
* Ability to plan own work schedule responding to new pressures and adjusting priorities.
* Ability to provide standard guidance and advice to travellers and solve queries.
