International Logistics Manager

We’re working with an innovative organisation on the outskirts of Cambridge, currently going through an extended period of growth, who are searching for a Logistics Manager with a quite specific skillset for a new position within their team.
Due to the needs of the business candidates must have experience dealing with Amazon ideally on an international level, and there is a strong preference for experience working with Netsuite though Amazon exposure without Netsuite would be considered. This role could be split between office and homeworking, but you would need to be able to travel to the office 2/3 days per week minimum.
Reporting into the Director, Tasks and responsibilities of the Logistics Manager will include but won’t be limited to:
Plan all import shipments – up to 20 containers a month
Look at 3rd party warehousing cost and benefits
Be accountable for all stock movements from point of ordering, through to sale
Look to make cost and efficiencies when importing from the far east
Efficient stock balancing between warehouse locations
Look to streamline, bring cost saving and efficiencies in sending stock to Amazon - manage all Amazon shipments with a focus on cost efficiencies
Required experience
Have experience with dealing with far east container shipments, including efficiency planning (essential)
Experience working with Amazon (Essential)
Strong analytical & excel skills
Netsuite or similar ERP experience
Confident negotiator
Experience dealing with haulage and freight companies within the UK and internationally
Be happy to review current processes / costs and take change of making improvements
Experience within a multi-warehouse business
Able to work independently and self-sufficiently
Experience in dealing with 3P warehousing
