Logistics Manager
Salary up to £35,000 DOE
Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a global FMCG business in Hull who are looking to recruit a Logistics Manager to join their expanding organisation.
Duties to include
Managing all shipping of export based products from the UK to various locations, this involves monitoring, negotiating and pricing with a variety of freight forwarders and freight partners.
Shipping to numerous key accounts
Dealing with customs clearance
Managing Shipping documentation such Export and Import Documents
Dealing with all things cargo updating customers on movements and delays
Working within SLA's
Maintaining relationships with customers, giving progress reports
Dealing with trade compliance and Audits
Dealing with Hauliers, quotations, invoicing etc
Ensuring the business is compliant with BrexitYou will have
Experience working within Logistics and Shipping ideally within manufacturing
Full knowledge of Brexit Legislation
Strong knowledge of customs compliance (Letter of Credit, HAWB, MAWB, Bills of Laden, Chamber of Commerce Documentation
Have proven experience in managing relationships with different suppliers
Customs knowledge and demonstrable experience within import and export
Strong attention to detail
