We require a Logistics Manager for a busy and vast construction site based in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The duration will be one year approx.
The ideal candidate will possess SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and have previous experience in a similar role.
Responsible for all aspects of the logistics supply chain, development and optimisation of site logistics solutions to meet the needs of the project. The logistics manager will be required to safely manage the movement of people, goods and equipment at the construction site and control site facilities management, which is an ever evolving process as the site changes.
This role will involve communicating and liaising with the full site team including the Project Manager and the Construction Managers on the site, the workforce and subcontractors. The construction logistics manager should ensure that the construction team is fully aware of logistics activities in support of the build program, also ensuring the site is secure.
