Mail, Documentation and Logistics Manager
Shifts: 5/7 covering a Monday- Sunday operation
£40,000-£43,000 Per annum plus benefits
My client is currently on an exciting journey, opening a new campus of corporate offices in a up and coming area of Glasgow.
This role as Mail, Document and Logistics Manager, will be at the very heart of the client's total operational efficiency.
This will be a role requiring travel around a large campus mainly on foot, so physical fitness and lots of energy is a must.
You must always be willing to go the extra mile, with a positive 'can do' attitude, you will be a well organised individual working methodically with a keen eye for detail. Adapting to changing environments and paces, people and cultures. Successful applicants will have a confident and sociable personality to develop strong rapport with colleagues and supply partners. Going over and above is our baseline!
You will have previous experience in managing mail room and logistics services and possess strong administration skills.
You will have a good general understanding of your client base and their diverse needs and daily priorities.
You will interact daily with internal and external stakeholders so you will need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
You will work as part of a large team but must be able to motivate yourself, demonstrating initiative and personal drive.
Excellent organisation skills and pride in your work PC skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, report writing.
Ability to manage and control mail and logistics budgets.
Performing regular checks on all site facilities and building areas to support the client's safety culture.
Creative and effective reaction to all issues that can and do arise.
