A global, market-leading, well-known clothing retailer is recruiting a Risk and Compliance Manager to join the business to deliver a best in class supply chain and to implement programmes that protect staff, product customers and ensure a high level of compliance. This is a global role taking you all over the world where you will visit, audit and work with suppliers, freight forwarders and Logistics partners.
This is an exciting time to join the business as it is undergoing change and is currently performing well given the current retail climate. The company offers a market level salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, healthcare, and a generous staff discount.
The role will initially be home-based with a phased part return into their London HQ near Euston Station. It is anticipated that once travel bans are lifted you will be travelling 50-75% of the time.
Responsibilities
Conducting on site and virtual audits with supply chain partners.
Working with relevant internal departments to ensure processes and procedures are being followed in order to maintain high levels of security compliance.
Implementation of new processes and policies internally and externally globally.
Work with global business on trade security initiatives.
To be successful within the role you will have:
Proven experience in managing global supply chain programmes focused around security.
Knowledge in trade security initiatives including C-TPAT, AEO AND TAPA.
Previous experience in managing 3rd party vendors.
Experience in working with a vast range of internal and external contacts and to be able to highly influence these individuals.
To be highly skilled in planning, coordination, presentation and communication and the ability to explain complex processes into plain English.
