Brewster Partners are excited to be working on an exclusive basis with a Manufacturing business in Chesterfield for a Customer Service and Logistics Manager.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, dispatch, transportation and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle including cost controls
Liaise with customers and as required external hauliers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Ensure dispatch, route planning and best practice
Resolve any arising problems or complaints within the IMS procedures
Effectively manage the department and staff
Facilitate robust KPI dataTHE PERSON:
Proven working experience as a Logistics & Customer Services Manager
Record of successful distribution and logistics management within a manufacturing sector.
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Proficient in standard logistics software and road haulage requirements
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Qualified in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain with strong communication skills and a mind-set of execution.
