Transport Manager

My client is looking for a Transport Manager to join their site in Bradford.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operational compliance and Transport legislation

• Increase operational optimisation of the fleet

• Achieve transport related quality objectives across the Company

• Work with operational manager to implement improvement plans and monitor progress relating to compliance, accidents and fuel use for the NDC

• Assist the Operational Manager

• Understanding of the demands of operating a fleet of 25 vehicles and Pallet Network

• You'll continually work to ensure you maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current transport legislation

• You'll be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers

• Financial awareness, as you'll need to adhere to company budgets and costs.

• Live within a commutable distance of Bradford

• Hold and maintain management CPC qualification - Desirable
