Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading UK Transport & European Distribution Firm actively recruiting a skilled and proven Transport Supervisor / Transport Manager to join their successful Leicester location.
Our client are specialists in UK & EU Pallet distribution and offer full services in single pallet, groupage, warehousing and storage.
Due to continued growth and expansion they now require a Transport Supervisor to oversee the daily planning and transport office environment. You will also be required to step into the Operations Managers shoes in their absence to oversee overall fleet, compliance and operational responsibilities.
Transport Supervisor Position Overview
Within this position your daily responsibilities will be to over-see the close knit office team and planning and transport office operations. You will work directly with the Operations Manager and step up in their absence to manage overall fleet, driver, compliance, contractors, pre-existing clients and the entire transport operations department.

Transport Supervisor Position Requirements
Transport Managers CPC - Essential
Experience managing compliance and working on FORS - Highly desirable
Proven ability to motivate and manage a team of planners & drivers
Knowledge of Pallet Network - Highly Desirable
Excellent communication, negotiating and problem solving skill sets
Both operational & planning experience is essentialTransport Supervisor Position Remuneration
Salary DOE £35 - 45k
Monday - Friday (office hours)
28 days holiday + banks
