ROLE: Transport Manager – Commercial Waste Management
You will be responsible for the day to day management of 16 drivers and vehicles.
Give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers and operatives, i.e. briefing/debriefing during course of working day.
Assist with ad - hoc and reactonal routing work as required. Constant montoring of routes and driving efficiences where possible.
Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are being complied to.
EXPERIENCE: Transport Manager – Commercial Waste Management
You will have excellent planning skills and a good understanding of compliance.
You will be extremely committed and have stability in previous roles.
Good communication and organisation skills are a must.
Ideally, you will have gained previous experience within a Driver position.
Managers CPC essential
You could have been the following: Depot Operations Supervisor / Transport Manager / Transport Operations / Traffic Dispatcher / Transport Controller/ Transport Supervisor / Contract Supervisor / Driver
