My client based just outside Worcester is looking to recruit a Warehouse and Logistics Manager on a Permanent basis.
This is great opportunity to be part of the operational side of the business making sure that the front end of the business operates to its maximum potential
As a suitable candidates you will come from a background with Strong IT skills, Lean Management, excellent people management skills and good working knowledge of Logistics operations
The main responsibilities for the role include
- Plan and organise work schedules
- Supervise the work and performance of the team, providing guidance and support where necessary
- Mange all aspects of stock control
- ensure compliance with H & S
- Ensure "Best Practices" and "Continuous Improvements" are adhered to at all times
- Oversee process control and to ensure minimum errors
- Manage Goods-in effectively
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- experience in a similar role involving both Warehouse and Logistics is essential
- Strong IT skills
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Excellent people skills with an ability to coach and mentor warehouse team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
The salary on offer is up to £32,000, dependent on relevant and suitable experience
