NATWEST Group Vehicle Services has awarded the contract to maintain the bulk of its 12,000 vehicle fleet to FCM following a major review of its operations. FCM won the contract from PHH Vehicle Management Services, which has supplied maintenance to NatWest for the last 10 years.

In a separate process, the group is also reviewing its vehicle acquisition arrangements (Fleet News September 20) and a decision is expected before the end of the year. In a statement, NatWest Group Vehicle Services said the review covered costs, service, risk and strategic issues and was part of a regular programme of re-evaluation of needs.
