The manufacturer says the three new vans meet changing operator demand for vehicles with a longer load deck and greater body volume - and compete in the same sector as the more expensive long wheelbase semi hi-roof Ford Transit 100 and 150.The new medium wheelbase vehicles are geared to suit a wide range of job applications including the carpet, plumbing and building trades.

The Relay 1000 medium wheelbase costs £12,815 (plus VAT) and has a gross vehicle weight of 1,135kgs. The 1,400 version costs £14,810 (plus VAT) and has a gross vehicle weight of 1,525kgs. Meanwhile, the 1400 long wheelbase high roof van, costing £16,880 (plus VAT) with a gross vehicle weight of 3250kgs, has been launched to satisfy customer demand for a vehicle for low density/high volume goods transport, where maximum cubic capacity is required.
