ROVER has launched two new versions of the 100 range called the Knightsbridge and Knightsbridge SE, with new colours, trims and specifications. It is now the cheapest model in the range at £6,595 with its spec derived from the existing 111i.

The Knightsbridge SE has a higher spec that includes body coloured bumpers, tilting/removable glass sunroof, remote central locking, digital clock and cigar lighter. There is also a choice of engines, from the 1.1 litre K Series to a 1.5 litre diesel.

SLi trim level is now available only with the 1.4 litre K series engine and trim choice includes Kashmir fabric as used in the 400 Series. Fascia wood is now standard and rear speakers improve the stereo performance. New colours are available on the 114GTa and cabriolet with the choice extended to eight.

The GSi model also features Kashmir fabric and has six-spoke alloy wheels fitted to the GTa. Full leather trim, including wood door cappings, is optional. The driver's airbag at £245 is the cheapest on the market.
