CHELTENHAM-based Sapa Holdings has appointed BCH Vehicle Management as its sole supplier of contract hire cars to the group on a three-year deal. The group manufactures aluminium extrusions and related products to the building industry and operates a mixed fleet of 175 vehicles. BCH won the contract from three other companies which also tendered for the deal.

BCH has been providing contract hire vehicles to one of Sapa Holdings' six subsidiary companies, Monarch Aluminium, for the last two years, with Sapa and the other companies all operating different fleet policies.

Now Sapa has decided to standardise its fleet arrangements with BCH and Sapa Holdings' group financial controller Justin Whitehorn said: 'We were impressed by BCH's professional approach to the tender and their competitive rates, but overall it was their attitude to customer service and the fact that they are not too big to tailor their services to our needs that won them the business.'

And, in a joint sponsorship deal, BCH and Monarch Aluminium have provided a Vauxhall Astra 1.4 LX to help a disabled Cheltenham schoolboy and his father in their bid to raise money for the charity Whizz-kids.
