Lantra to leap ahead?

HYUNDAI predicts that demand for the Lantra Estate will leap by 25% thanks to the arrival of its new entry level model. The 1.6 LSi is priced at £10,999 and provides the most luggage space in the upper medium sector.

The Lantra Estate was launched in January as the 1.8 CD at £14,249 and the 1.6 GLSi at £11,999 and the estate went on to take 30% of Lantra sales. Standard equipment on the entry level car includes power steering, driver's airbag, stereo radio/cassette, split/folding rear seat, engine immobiliser, central locking, electric front windows and body coloured bumpers. ABS brakes and air conditioning are optional.
