Dealer groups predict a return of the retail car buyer

TWO of the UK's major dealership groups have backed new car sales figures which reveal a return to the market of private buyers.

Quicks Group, the Manchester based motor distributor, has reported good business for the first quarter of 1996 through improving retail new and used car sales. And the Perry Group has also reported a distinct upturn in new car sales in the last two months following a flat first quarter which hit margins.
