The Trust will also benefit from the outsourcing of all fleet administration including invoice validation, preparation of reports, processing of driving fines, quotations for new vehicles and the policing of the employee car leasing scheme.
The Trust operates a fleet of more than 100 vehicles for use by community nurses and staff who need a car for business purposes. Under the terms of the new agreement BCC will replace the Trust's current fleet with a multi-badge range of vehicles supplied on a contract hire basis. Under the deal the Trust will remain in control of policy while all day-to-day administration is handled by BCC.
