FLEET management consultant the Bridewell Group has completed a £3 million sale and leaseback deal on behalf of H Leverton - the Caterpillar and industrial machinery arm of Unilever. The deal covers a mixed fleet of 300 vehicles including lcvs and management and sales personnel's cars.

The vehicles will be bought and leased back by two leading leasing companies, with Bridewell selecting them based on competitiveness in supplying different classes of vehicle. The deal is one of the biggest contracts Bridewell has won since detaching itself last year from accountancy firm Coopers & Lybrand - whose fleet it still manages.
