Highway scores fleet goal with Charlton

HIGHWAY Vehicle Leasing has scored a hit with First Division football club Charlton Athletic. The company will supply the club with 12 cars in a three-year deal. All the cars are Fords, including Scorpio 2.9 Ultimas, Mondeo 1.8s and Escorts.

Highway area sales manager Andy Conway said: 'Charlton took advantage of recent VAT changes, selecting full maintenance contract hire which offered fixed costs across the entire fleet.' For the club, executive director Jonathan Fuller said: 'We switched to Highway because their rates were very competitive and because the package they pulled together was adapted to our requirements.'
